New Course 1: Building Buttercream Skills, is your starting point and will cover topics such as fundamentals in baking a cake, making icing and using a decorating bag. From there you will use a variety of decorating tips to make stars, star fill-in, dots, pulled dots, transfers, borders, ruffles, shell, bead borders, leaves, grass, star drop flowers, swirl drop flowers, daisy, sunflower, zinnia, printing, writing and the ribbon rose.

New Course 2: Flowers and Cake Design encompasses both traditional and contemporary design. Buttercream techniques like cornelli lace, brush embroidery it also focuses on making flowers primarily with royal icing. Flowers like apple blossom, petals, rose bud, wilton rose, half rose, appliques, stems, leaves, pansy, violet, lily and poinsettia. Additionally, you will learn how to choose colors for your cake as well as positioning the elements of Ė the message, flowers and embellishments, borders and side treatments - which will all impact the final look and ultimately the success of your cake design.

New Course 3: Gum Paste and Fondant is a collection of the best techniques from two current classes into a fun and challenging experience. This class teaches you how to cover round and square cakes with fondant, tinting, make fondant bows  and loops, quilling, leaves, mums, roses, carnation, calla lily, daisies and ruffles.

Each Wilton Method class is held here at the Le Kitchen store where you'll receive instructions from a trained Wilton Method teacher and an attractive, full color publication detailing step-by-step instructions. And, at the end of every course you will leave with a cake specifically designed and decorated by you.

Once you have completed any one of these courses, youíll have gained the confidence to decorate cakes your family and friends will enjoy for years to come.
