CAKE TIN HIRE:

You can hire cake tins of all shapes and sizes from Le Kitchen. Our Wilton Cake Decorating Method-trained staff can assist in helping you choose the right tin and cake-making ingredients for each project. Instore, we sell a range of products from ready-made fondant icing to dry cake mixes and gel colours for decorating.

COURSE INFORMATION:

Wilton Cake Decorating Classes

      Course 1: Decorating Basics (4 Weeks, $200 inclusive of course kit & book) (4 weeks

Your Instructor will show you the right way to decorate, step by step, so that you experience the excitement of successfully decorating your first cake. You'll understand how to bake a great cake, see how to make and colour icing and learn the best way to ice the cake

        Course 2: Flowers & Cake Design (4 Weeks, $200 inclusive of course kit & book)

Create breathtaking icing flowers such as pansies, daffodils, daisy, apples blossom, primrose and violets. Learn how to arrange them in a beautifully balanced cake-top bouquet, and frame it in an impressive border treatment or basket weave design. 

         Course 3: Fondant (6 Weeks, $275 inclusive of course kit & book)

Learn how to ice flowers such as lilies and poinsettias, and icing techniques for special occasion cakes. Discover the secrets to fondant roses and ribbons, and learn other fondant tool techniques.
